Democratic congressional candidate Tedra Cobb, running for the District 21 seat against Republican incumbent Elise Stefanik, has secured the endorsement of The New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA).
With over 42,000 members, NYSNA is New York's largest union and professional association for nurses.
“I am proud to have received the endorsement of NYSNA and look forward to representing their members in Congress,” said Cobb.
“I have spent 30 years in this community fighting for access to quality, affordable healthcare. Meanwhile, in Washington, Elise Stefanik has spent her career voting repeatedly to kick 64,000 Northern New Yorkers off their insurance, to raise the cost of prescription drugs, and to gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions. NYSNA and their frontline members understand the struggle our rural communities face, and I look forward to working with them to solve these issues.
