CANTON -- Motorists traveling along U.S. Rt. 11 north of Canton may face near the railroad bridge just north of the village while it is milled next week.
The work is expected to be done Monday through Wednesday, April 25 through 27, generally between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be alternating one way, controlled by flagpeople and a pilot vehicle. There are likely to be minor delays, DOT warns.
Maintenance crews will continue work in this area throughout the remainder of the week sweeping and cleaning around catch basins and drainage structures.
DOT wants to remind motorists that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
