The Central Trades and Labor Council has unanimously endorsed Republican County Treasurer candidate Kevin Felt.
Felt, currently deputy treasurer for St. Lawrence County, is running against Canton Town Supervisor David Button in the Sept. 14 primary.
“I am honored to receive their endorsement and, if elected, will make the residents of St. Lawrence County proud,” said Felt. “I will act professionally, ethically, and always keep their best interests first.”
He continued, “I would also like to thank the USW Local 450-A for inviting me to walk with them in the Massena Labor Day parade. I had a great time, walked with a great group of people, and met a lot of nice people along the parade route.”
