The presentation, given by SeaComm Federal Credit Union Business Development Coordinator Jerry Manor, will provide useful information to help people prevent identity theft from happening to them.

The presentations will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on these dates at these following locations

Jan. 31 -- Potsdam Nutrition Site

Feb. 1 -- Canton Nutrition Site

Feb. 3 -- Brasher Nutrition Site

Feb. 10 -- DeKalb Junction Nutrition Site

Feb. 11 -- Star Lake Nutrition Site

Feb. 24 -- Ogdensburg Nutrition Site

Identity theft is a serious crime that occurs when someone uses your personal information, like your name, Social Security number, or credit card number, without your permission, to commit fraud or other crimes.

All senior citizens are invited to have lunch after the presentation. The suggested donation for the lunch for seniors 60 and over is $3, and for guests under 60, $5.

For program and lunch reservations, contact April Failing at St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging at 386-4730.
