CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County will be recognizing maple season even as the State Maple Weekend is on pause this year.
CCE announced they will offer Maple Tours on two Saturdays in March.
The public can register for either of two time slots on March 13 from 10 a.m. to Noon or 1 to 3 p.m., or on March 27 10 a.m. to Noon or 1 to 3 p.m.
The 4-H educators and CCE staff will guide people along a journey of all things maple. The tour includes a wagon ride to the sugar bush, tree identification, maple processing and a tasty cup of hot maple cream.
Visitors should follow all COVID-19 protocols.
