COLTON -- A Colton man accused of driving while intoxicated Sunday reportedly hit two parked cars at a mini-mart, pushing one of them into the building, then hit a pickup truck, pushing it into a gas pump and pinning the driver between his truck and the pump.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies said that Terry V. Paige, 48, 7 Number Nine Rd., was trying to turn around in the parking lot of the Kunoco in Colton when the chain of events occurred.
The owner of the pickup truck was taken by private vehicle to Canton-Potsdam Hospital where he was treated for multiple contusions.
Paige was charged with reckless driving and DWI.
Further charges are pending, deputies said. Paige is scheduled to appear in Colton Town Court in September.
