COLTON -- A Colton man was charged Thursday with stealing lottery tickets from the Kunoco Mini Mart.
Corey A. Bishop, 40, entered the store and stole three scratch-off lottery tickets, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies.
The store’s manager informed deputies, who then charged Bishop with petit larceny and issued him an appearance ticket, deputies said.
While Bishop was being processed it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for probation violation in Franklin County. As a result he was turned over to state police to be arraigned on that charge, according to the deputies.
