Claxton-Hepburn shows off renovations in outpatient lab, speech therapy department, sleep lab

OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center recently hosted an open house to highlight newly renovated space with an outpatient lab draw area, occupational and speech therapy, and sleep lab services, all in the old Residential Health Care Facility space.

The renovations to the emergency department include a new three-bed mental health intake unit and a new fast track triage and care area.

The project is a result of the HEAL grant that the Medical Center received from New York State.

Several dignitaries and people from the community attended. Speakers included Maureen Missert, president of the Claxton-Hepburn Board of Directors, Mark Webster, President and CEO, Assemblywoman Addie Jennie Russell, Emergency Department Medical Director Ted Klaudt, MD and Maureen Missert, president of the Claxton-Hepburn Board of Directors.
