NORFOLK — A Chase Mills man was arrested Saturday night following investigation of an alleged domestic dispute at Valero gas station on State Highway 56, according to state police.
Troopers responded around 3:10 a.m. to the gas station and discovered that 54-year old Preston P. Mossow, engaged in a domestic dispute with the victim while they were inside a vehicle, officers said.
Mossow, reportedly intoxicated, punched the woman in the face multiple times while she was driving, grabbed her by the hair and then pulled the emergency break while she was driving which caused her to lose control of the vehicle temporarily, police said.
The victim them pulled into the gas station.
Troopers said they discovered that Mossow has an active order of protection, with the victim listed as the protected party, which was originally issued by Norfolk Town Court.
He was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, felony, second-degree harassment, and second-degree reckless endangerment, officers said.
He was released under the supervision of probation, police said.
