POTSDAM -- A report of people passed out inside a vehicle at Walmart, 7494 U.S. Highway 11, resulted in several charges for the driver, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Timothy J. Anderson, 21, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations, officers said.
Anderson was found to be intoxicated by drugs and provided a blood sample, officers said.
He was cited and released.
MADRID -- A woman was charged with impaired driving following investigation of a personal-injury accident on State Highway 310 earlier this year, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Cynthia M. Murdock, 34, no hometown listed, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and failure to keep right, officers said.
The accident took place June 27 and she was charged Aug. 6, deputies said.
Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway that had crashed into a tree and reportedly discovered that Murdock had operated the crashed vehicle while impaired by drugs.
A blood test yielded a positive result for methamphetamine, marijuana and other controlled substances, deputies said.
She was cited and released.
