CANTON – A to Z Thrift Shop, 47 Riverside Drive, is changing co-owners and is looking to begin a Christmas program for families in need.

Becky Buckley, who opened the shop a year ago with Debra Brundage Corbine, is leaving, and Barbara Gollinger is joining Corbine in the business.

Gollinger has many years’ experience volunteering at local thrift shops.

A to Z is trying to get a Christmas program started and are looking for anyone who would like to volunteer to help get it going. Donations collected for this program are strictly for those in need and will not be used for business profit. Anyone interested in helping may call 386-2869.

The co-owners are also working to update their inventory with winter clothing, dishes and glassware, books, movies, and big items such as couches, end tables, lamps and other furniture items.

The store’s hours are changing slightly. They will still be open Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 3, but they re opening an hour earlier on Tuesdays, operating from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
