HERMON — A Canton man was arrested May 16 after allegedly fleeing St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies on an ATV following a trespassing complaint.
Dylan R. Sharpstene, 24, was charged with trespassing, failure to comply with an order, unlawful operation of an ATV on a public highway, using an ATV without a helmet, uninsured ATV, unregistered ATV, and improper lights, officers said.
He was additionally charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after being found in possession of metal knuckles, deputies said.
Deputies were responding to a trespassing complaint at 1517 CR 21 in Hermon and when officers arrived on scene Sharpstene reportedly fled on an ATV.
He was located in the Village of Hermon a short time later and attempted to flee once again, officers said. He was taken into custody on CR 21.
He was cited and released on tickets returnable in Hermon court at a later date.
