LISBON — A Canton man who allegedly drove a stolen car into an embankment Dec. 31 was charged Thursday following investigation of the incident, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Keith J. Mccauley, 32, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree grand larceny, criminal mischief and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, officers said.
Maccauley reportedly took the vehicle from the Young Road in Lisbon and drove it into an embankment in the Town of Canton.
He was operating the vehicle with a suspended drivers license, deputies said.
Mccauley was arraigned in Lisbon court and released under the supervision of probation and is to answer the charges in court at a later date.
