POTSDAM — A Canton man was charged with felony drug possession following a traffic stop Monday on U.S. Highway 11, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Bobby J. LaFave, 49, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, officers said.
He was also cited for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, false inspection, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and multiple traffic tickets, police said.
He was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine and a number of buprenotphine pills, deputies said.
He was arraigned in Canton court by Judge Michael Morgan and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail.
