OGDENSBURG — A Canton man was charged after allegedly crashing his vehicle after ingesting a compressed gas inhalant, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Jeffrey D. Bresett, 45, was charged with reckless driving and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, officers said.
Bresset allegedly was involved in a property-damage accident Monday on SH 68 after he ingested the compressed gas inhalant that compromised his driving ability and consciousness, officers said.
His vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck guide rails.
Bresett was cited and released.
