CANTON -- A Canton man was charged after allegedly menacing two juveniles with a kitchen knife and striking another person, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Prentice H. Purvis, 57, was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, deputies said.
Officers said he allegedly menaced two youth with a knife, damaged property and struck a person during a domestic dispute on Nov. 28.
Purvis was arraigned in front of Judge Morgan of Canton court and released on his own recognizance, officers said.
A no harass order of protection was issued in favor of the victims, deputies said.
