CANTON -- A Canton man was charged with attempted promoting prison contraband after an investigation of a letter mail to the St. Lawrence County jail, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Joshua D. Martin, 42, was charged with first-degree attempted promoting prison contraband on June 11 stemming from a May 17 incident, officers said.
The letter addressed to Martin allegedly contained 30 strips of Suboxone.
Martin was cited and released.
