CANTON – A Goodrich Street house suffered what was described as moderate damage in a fire today that reportedly began at an attic electrical junction box.
Canton Fire and Rescue were called out at 11:58 a.m., to a structure at 5 Goodrich St., owned by Randy Needom of Woodbourne.
Potsdam firefighters provided mutual aid; Morley and Rensselaer Falls departments were on standby.
The house is insured by the owner, but fire investigators said none of the four occupants had renter’s insurance.
No one was reported injured.
The Canton department was back in service at 2:36 p.m.
