CANTON -- The Canton Goldenaires Chorus has selected four award winners for 2018.
Three Goldenaires’ quartets raised nearly $1,600 by delivering close to 50 “singing valentines” on Valentine’s Day.
This year’s winners, selected from 23 high school seniors who applied, are Emily Allen of Massena Central School, Riley Haas of Norwood-Norfolk Central School, Michael Tracy of Hermon-DeKalb Central School and Brianna Larrabee of Canton Central School.
Each winner will be recognized at their respective graduations. To receive their award, each student must attend part of a Goldenaires practice to learn a little about barbershop music.
