Organizers of the 2023 Colonel’s Cup held Saturday, March 25, at the Canton Pavilion, have labeled the event as very successful.
The hockey game featured back to back action with the scored tied at 4-4 before the veteran Canton Flames dominated the Canton All-Star down the stretch to record an 8-4 victory.
This year’s father and son matchup featured Troy Creurer and his son Daniel.
Mark Brackett, who initiated the Cup in 1987, drove 800 miles from Nashville, Tenn. to Canton on Friday to suit up for the Canton Flames.
After the game, the Flames hosted an open bar with pizza and wings for players, family and fans at Sergi's Banquet Room.
