CANTON — The French Exchange Program at Canton High School finally returned in full swing this year after being canceled because of the pandemic in 2020, said High School French teacher Ellie Recinos.
Twelve Canton High School students traveled to France this February and are returning today after spending almost two weeks with their host families in Nogent le Rotrou.
Canton also hosted 25 French students this past October.
Students visiting Paris last week were Katie Metcalf, Hannah Beldock, Phoebe Jaskowski, Claire Coakley, Maya Thomas, Baylee Wilson, Grace McDonough, Olivia Sero, Maysa Moumen, Natalie Todd, Izzy Gustafson and Nathan Lyndaker.
Chaperones for the trip were Carol Goldie, Martha Chisholm and Fiona Hopkins.
