CANTON -- Canton Central School District’s budget hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Hugh C. Williams High School learning resource center, followed by a regular board meeting.
Voting on the 2012-2013 budget, school bus proposition, and candidates for the Board of Education are from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, also in the high school learning resource center.
Voters are eligible if they are at least 18 on voting day, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of the school district at least 30 days before the date of the election. Voters do not need to be registered to vote in the school election.
Absentee ballots may be obtained from Cynthia A. Whitford, District Clerk, in the district office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on school days.
