CANTON — Several coaches were appointed and two resignations were approved at the Canton Central School Board of Education meeting Aug. 15
The school board approved resignations for teaching assistant Jennifer Wilcox, effective July 31. They also approved the resignation of food service helper Jacqueline Reynolds, effective Aug. 2.
Carol Sayer was appointed as a substitute bus monitor and substitute custodial worker/cleaner at a rate of $11.80 per hour.
Kimberly French was appointed as girls modified soccer coach for the upcoming season at a stipend of $1,778, pending final administrative clearance.
The board approved John Sovay as an unpaid assistant girls soccer coach at all levels for the 2019-20 season.
Kacie Wentworth will serve as an unpaid softball coach at all levels for the spring 2020 season.
