CANTON – The Canton Assessor’s office announces that anyone who is receiving a Basic Star Exemption, turns 65 by December 2022, and has an annual income less than $92,000.00 should call the Assessor’s office for an Enhanced Star Exemption Application (RP-425-E) and an Income Verification form (RP-425-IVP).
The forms can also be accessed on the New York State Office of Real Property Tax Services. All exemption applications are due to the Assessor, Cindy Brand, by March 1, 2022. She can be reached at 315-386-2595.
