CANTON – Two municipal board meetings are slated for Sept. 16 and 17 at the Municipal Building, 60 Main St.
The Canton Village Board of Trustees will convene Monday, Sept. 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the court room.
Agenda items include and update on the EV charging stations project, the municipal ethics code, discussion of funding a water project to the Maple Hill subdivision and the animal control position.
The board is also expected to add John Kennedy to the Complete Streets Task Force, approve Tyler Woods as a new golf course employee.
The town and village boards will meet Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. in the court room to hold a public hearing on the joint Canton Comprehensive Plan.
Following the hearing, the two boards will discuss the ethic code, transfer of several sections of town roads to the village, a zoning audit, and the annexation of land along Sullivan Drive for Argent Development.
