An upper-level low pressure system across southeastern Ontario early this morning will track slowly eastward across the St. Lawrence Valley today, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

This system will bring variably cloudy conditions and scattered light rain showers, NWS says. Temperatures will be below normal for mid-June, with today`s highs in the 60s.

High pressure will briefly build across the region tonight, the service says.
