The Tri-Town Peewee boys captured the NYSAHA Tier III U12 crown Sunday in Buffalo. The Tri-Town Timberwolves beat the Niagara Coyotes 6-1, Palisades Predators 7-1, and Onondaga 4-3 in the first round.
The streak continued as they beat the Genesee Batavia Ramparts in the crossover game 5-1, which put them in the championships facing the Palisades Predators once again.
The Timberwolves were able to secure the state crown with a 4-1 win over the Predators. The Timberwolves move on to the Northeast Tier III Peewee Regional March 15-17 in Shelton, Conn.
