54 new COVID-19 cases in St. Lawrence County over Thursday and Friday

St. Lawrence County Public Health Department officials say there were 29 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the county on Thursday, and another 25 on Friday, for a cumulative total of 848 cases since March.

The remaining items monitored (active cases/isolation/tests) as well as maps will be updated on Monday, county officials said.

Testing for COVID-19 is done through local hospital systems by appointment only. Call the numbers below between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. if you have symptoms or feel you should be tested:

St. Lawrence Health System: 315-261-6240

"New York On PAUSE continues until December 3rd 2020 (as written in Executive Order 202.72), requiring postponement, cancellation, or restriction of all non-essential gatherings of more than 10 (ten) individuals at private residences, and other gatherings occurring indoors must not exceed 50% of maximum capacity up to 50 people, provided the region has reached Phase 4 of the State’s reopening, and provided that social distancing, face covering, and cleaning and disinfection protocols required by the Department of Health are adhered to. Businesses or entities in industries open for Phase One, Two, Three and Four must be operated subject to the guidance promulgated by the Department of Health.
