OGDENSBURG – More COVID-19 cases are being reported at the Ogdensburg United helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care Center in Ogdensburg.
Since Sunday, 28 residents and 18 staff members have tested positive and that number could increase as more tests are being administered.
Initially CEO Steve Knight reported the cases were contained to one “neighborhood” or wing, but now Vice President of Operations at United Helpers Rehabilitation and Senior Care in Ogdensburg Timothy Parsons says two wings are quarantined.
So far no hospitalizations have resulted from the spread. Most cases are reportedly asymptomatic or mild, according to Parsons.
