GOUVERNEUR -- An 18-year-old has been charged with a felony after allegedly damaging a vehicle's LCD screen, troopers say.

The 18-year-old male, who troopers aren't identifying, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief on Sept. 20.

He allegedly punched an LCD screen inside a person's vehicle, rendering it inoperable, troopers said.

The teen was virtually arraigned in Clifton Town Court and released with orders to re-appear in Gouverneur Town Court on a later date, troopers said.
