16 new COVID-19 cases in SLC on Weds.; active cases up to 93

St. Lawrence County Public Health Department officials say there were 16 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the county on Wednesday, May 12.

There are 93 active cases with one of them hospitalized.

Health officials said 7,118 cases have been released from isolation and 96 have died of the illness.

County hospitals have performed 315,847 tests for COVID-19 as of Tuesday, the most recent date for which data was available. So far, there have been a total of 7,307 confirmed coronavirus cases in St. Lawrence County.
