GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur man was killed Nov. 20 in an ATV accident, state police say.
Larry G. Deets Jr., 40, was driving a 2016 Polaris RZR north on Beaman Rd. when he lost control of the vehicle, police say.
Deets and his passenger, Ty Fuller, 24, of Gouverneur, were both ejected from the side-by-side.
Both were transported to Gouverneur Hospital, where Fuller died from his injuries.
Deets was transported by helicopter to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
The investigation is ongoing.
