Last week, freshman Nate Uline (Gansevoort, NY) of the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team had to share the honor of Liberty League Rookie of the Week, but on Monday he was the sole newcomer named as the conference's top freshman for the past seven days.
Uline, who averaged 11.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game over a 1-1 weekend, recorded his first career double-double on Saturday with 14 points and 10 rebounds. He also had three blocks in the two-game stretch.
With 15 games under his belt, Uline now qualifies for the conference leaderboard, and his name has popped up in numerous categories. Overall, he ranks 27th in scoring (7.9 ppg), 9th in rebounding (5.7 rpg), 2nd in field-goal percentage (55.9%), and 3rd in blocks (1.3 bpg). In conference games, his numbers and rankings get even better, as he is averaging 9.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game while still shooting 52.2 percent from the floor.
