The SUNY Potsdam volleyball team will host a day camp starting Sunday, Aug. 14, and running through Thursday, Aug. 18, for youth players ages 12-18.
The camp, which will take place at SUNY Potsdam’s Jerry Welsh Gymnasium, will be held each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Potsdam coach Steve Pike, as well as a number of other Bears players and coaches, will be on hand for group and individual instruction for players of all skill levels.
“This will be a unique opportunity for players to advance their skills prior to the volleyball season in a setting with a nearly one-to-one coach-to-player ratio,” Pike said.
The total cost of the camp is $100. There will be a one-hour break each day for lunch, which is not provided by the camp. Campers are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.
To register for the camp, call 315-267-2167 or visit www.potsdam.edu/community/clear.
