(Canton, N.Y.)- Sophomore guard Ilijana Todorovic (Banja Luka, Bosnia) has been named the co-Player of the Week by the Sunrise Conference in women’s basketball.
Todorovic, who joined the team in the second half of the year, had three terrific games averaging 14.6 points and 9.0 rebounds helping the Roos close out the regular season on a seven-game winning streak.
Todorovic posted her first double-double of her career with 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 69-54 win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle. She then had 15 points and nine boards in a 61-27 win over Fisher College and ended the week with 13 points and eight rebounds in a 74-36 win over the College of St. Joseph.
For the week Todorovic shot 54 percent from the floor and 76 percent from the free throw line.
