(Canton, N.Y.) Sophomore guard Abbey Shoen (Waddington, N.Y.) has been named the co-Player of the Week in the Sunrise Conference.
Shoen is honored for the first time this year after leading the Roos to two conference wins over
the weekend. Shoen averaged 11.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.
She had 16 points, including an 11-for-15 performance at the free throw line, six rebounds and three steals in a 59-43 win over the University of Maine at Machias. The next day she collected seven points and nine rebounds in a 60-32 win over Vermont Tech.
Shoen is averaging 6.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
