(Presque Isle, Maine)- Junior Heather Lottie (Canton, N.Y.) notched the 100th hit of her career with a home run in game two of a doubleheader at the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Saturday.
The Owls won game one 8-2 and they also won game two 14-12.
Lottie, who has pitched and played left field and first base this season, entered the weekend with 98 career hits after getting five against the Owls in their tripleheader a week ago. She had a double in the opening game and then eclipsed the tremendous milestone with a bomb to center field for her team-leading sixth home run of the year in game two.
More information on today’s games will be coming later on and both teams will face each other in another doubleheader on Sunday starting at 12 p.m.
