SUNY Canton's Fedor powers men's ice hockey to third straight win

(Binghamton, N.Y.)- Adam Fedor (Orleans, Ontario) pumped in three goals and assisted on one other leading the SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team to a 7-1 win over Binghamton University Friday night in Binghamton.

The Roos won their third straight game improving to 11-2 overall.

Fedor recorded his second hat trick of the season and now has a team-leading 14 goals and 22 points.

Fedor and his linemates Corey Frizell (Orleans, Ontario) and Jeremiah Hardin (Alpharetta, Ga.) combined for four of the seven goals the Roos scored on Friday. Frizell added one goal and three assists and Hardin assisted on all four goals and now has a team-high 18 assists.

Michael Pittman (Amarillo, Texas) made his second start of the season and beat the Bearcats for the second time this year stopping 16 shots. Pittman had 20 saves in his first start against Binghamton earlier this season.

Doug Burns (Manchester, N.H.) added two goals and Eric Cook (Cary, N.C.) scored once for the Roos who will play Cornell University Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in Ithaca, N.Y.

Jon Ison tallied the lone goal for Binghamton and Brian Moore had 36 saves.
