"Our depth came into play today," said Coach Dan Roiger, "and as the game went along we kept running fresh people in and eventually found a weakness in a really tough opponent. I was really pleased with the start of the second half. We talked about not letting RIT cut it to single digits and our offensive execution was very good to start the half."

Both teams exchanged leads several times in the first half and were tied 28-28 with 7:27 to go. The Saints then went on a 17-4 run to take a 45-32 advantage into the break at halftime.

St. Lawrence scored on 13 of its first 16 possessions out of the locker room, scoring nearly 30 points in the first eight minutes of the second half and taking a 73-47 lead with 12:00 to play. The Saints then cruised to their third straight win behind another solid team effort that saw five Saints score in double digits. Along with Legg's 22 points and six rebounds, fellow classmates Hannah Wilson and Katie Abramski each scored 11 points, while junior co-captains Katherine Edgerton and Casey Capello added 11 and 13 points, respectively.

Sophomore Erica Spera also recorded nine points and dished out four assists for the Saints.

"We've had a great start to the season," Coach Roiger added, "but we still have a lot more we can do to get better."

St. Lawrence will battle Plattsburgh State on November 30th in a non-conference match-up at home. Tip-off is schedule for 6:00pm in the Burkman gymnasium.
