St. Lawrence University first-year alpine skier Allison Visconti recorded a collegiate-best finish on Saturday in the slalom at the 2012 Dartmouth Carnival in Lyme, NH, leading the Saints' women's team to sixth place overall.

Visconti picked up her first career top-15, taking 13th place overall with a time of 1:42.32. The Ridgefield, CT native moved up three spots thanks to a second run time of 49.37 to earn 27.0 points for the Scarlet and Brown.

St. Lawrence, which was again without junior Ashley-Kate Durham due to illness, totaled 63.0 points thanks to a 22nd place showing by sophomore Caroline Barry and a 31st place finish from rookie Maria Hillenbrand. First-year student Kelly Appenzeller and senior Mackenzie Irwin also competed for the Saints, but failed to qualify for the second run.

On the men's side, senior Jeremy Lawless posted a combined time of 1:35.36 to finish in 20th place, his fifth career top-20. Sophomore Nick Scalia contributed to the team's points for the second straight day in 33rd place, while senior captain Matt Dodge capped the scoring in 38th. The trio combined for 50.0 points for eighth place in the standings.

Sophomore Dustin Martin (43rd), and rookies Graham Scott (DNF) and Loudon Fruth (DNQ) also represented St. Lawrence in the men's slalom.

The University of Vermont again swept the events on Saturday, winning both team and individual titles. Elise-woien Tefre claimed the women's race, while Tim Kelley won the men's slalom and was the first of four UVM skiers in the top-4.

Both St. Lawrence alpine teams will be in action again tomorrow, Sunday, February 12 as the EISA makes up the giant slalom from the UNH Carnival, which was canceled on January 27.
