The St. Lawrence University men's tennis team fell to regionally ranked no. 16 the University of Rochester 7-2 at the Goergen Athletic Center in Rochester, NY. The Saints, who rank no. 14 in the region, move the Saints to 5-4 on the season.
Senior Tony Wilkey and sophomore Michael Hayden were the only point winners for the Saints. Wilkey defeated Boris Borovcanin 6-4, 6-4 in first singles and Hayden defeated Joel Allen 6-3, 6-0 in second singles. Rochester swept the doubles matches against St. Lawrence.
St. Lawrence will host two dual matches this weekend. The Saints will battle Skidmore on Saturday the 9th at 11:00pm and Hobart on Sunday the 10th at 3:30pm.
