The 2019-20 St. Lawrence University women's hockey schedule is set, and the Saints will face Holy Cross for the first time in program history and will host the Korean National Team in an exhibition game in late October.

The Saints open the season with three sets of non-conference road series, facing Ohio State on September 27-28, New Hampshire on October 3-4 and Vermont on Oct. 10-11. Holy Cross, which joined the Hockey East last season, will serve as the Saints' first home opponent in games on October 19-20. The Saints will play the Korean National Team, which won the Division I Group B silver medal at the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championships, on Thursday, October 24.

"With a lot of new faces on this year's team, it will be good to get out on the road so the players and coaches can really get to know each other," said St. Lawrence head coach Chris Wells '92 . "It will be great to face Holy Cross for the first time, and playing the Korean National Team here in the North Country is going to be an experience that everyone will remember."

The Saints open ECAC Hockey play with a trip to the capital region to face Rensselaer and Union on November 1-2, then host Cornell and Colgate the following weekend. The next weekend, St. Lawrence will face Syracuse, coached by former St. Lawrence women's hockey coach Paul Flanagan '80, who was enshrined as a Legend of Appleton last season, in a home-and-home series, with the Saints hosting a Friday matinee at 3 p.m.

"PJ had a huge hand in building our program, and it's always great to get him back to Appleton Arena," said Wells, who was hired as the Saints' head coach when Flanagan left to start the program at Syracuse in 2008.

After a road trip to face Quinnipiac and Princeton, the Saints will wrap up the non-conference schedule with a two-game set against Robert Morris on November 29-30. They will close the first semester with home games against Union and Rensselaer the following weekend.

After a five-week break from games, the Saints will open the second semester with ECAC Hockey games at Brown and Yale before facing Clarkson in a home-and-home series on January 17-18. St. Lawrence will host the second game of the series at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

St. Lawrence's last regular season home series will see Princeton and Quinnipiac come to town on February 14-15, and the Saints will close the regular season with road games at Dartmouth and Harvard on February 21-22.
