The Saints will play Navy, a 9-0 loser to Western Ontario, in a consolation match on Saturday. SLU will take a 11-9 match record into the match with Navy, a team they beat 8-1 earlier in the year.

The Saints won the odd number matches in the match against Brown, but the Bears won at eight and nine for the match title. Nick Dodge won at one, Vir Seth at three, Will Campo at five and Mike Badali at seven for the Saints.

Dodge beat Adrian Leanza 3-2, taking a 2-1 lead after losing the opening game, but Leanza forced a game five with an 11-5 win in game four. Dodge prevailed in the tie-breaker 11-6. Brown's Brad Thompson beat Amay Merchant 3-0 at two, 11-8, 11-9, 11-4, but Seth was a 3-2 winner over Blake Reinson as the two traded wins through the first four before Seth won the fifth game 11-5.
