Junior Michael Bliss stroked a 77, just five over par, to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team to a 2-0-1 victory over Clarkson on Saturday afternoon at the Kaluhyat Course in Verona, New York.
The Saints and the Golden Knights played 6,724 yards from the blues at the par-72 Kaluhyat Course at the Turning Stone to help prep for next weekend's Liberty League Championships.
Tom Egbers ranked second on the Saints' squad, shooting seven over par for a 79, while Wesley Dixon rounded out the top three scorers with an 81.
Clarkson's Tom Conroy posted the top results for the Golden Knights with a 78.
St. Lawrence will continue its weekend against Clarkson with a match play round tomorrow, April 21.
