St. Lawrence University's women's swim team had nine individual event wins and four seconds and won both relays in a 138-89 dual meet victory over SUNY Potsdam at Potsdam on Saturday, while the Saint men had five individual wins, five seconds and a relay win, but were second to the Bears 135-105.

Kathleen Spakowski and Katharine Weidhausser were double winners for the Saint women with Spakowski winning the distance double, the 1000 free in 11:44.55 and the 500 free in 5:42.90 and Weidhausser taking the 200 free in 2:03.60 and the 200 fly in 2:18.33. Diver Jamie O'Neill was also a double winner, taking the one meter competition with a score of 148 points and the three meter with a 114.0 total.

Katie Kozminski won the 100 free in 57.32 seconds and was second in the 50 free in addition to anchoring the first place 400 medley relay team which won in 4:16.05. She was joined on the medley relay by Casey Abribat, Elizabeth Canne and Weidhausser. Abribat also won the 400 IM in 4:54.52 and was second in the 200 back while Cann won the 200 breaststroke in 2:37.04 with Hannah Grimes second. Canne and Grimes joined Brynn Hagen and Britin VanOsdel on the winning 400 free relay team which was timed in 4:01.71.

Jared Pellerin was a double winner for the Saint men, winning the 1000 free in 10:20.71 and the 200 fly in 2:10.45. Russell Newton won the 400 IM in 4:29.50 and was second in the 50 free while Andrew Hayes won the 200 back in 2:04.65 and was second in the 200 free and Robert Sibley won the 200 breast stroke in 2:18.00 and joined Alexander Root, Newton, and Luke Peleggi to win the 400 free relay in 3:30.10.

Tad Deatley was second in the 100 fly, Jason Dutra was second in the 100 free and diver Alex Smith was second on both the one and three meter boards.

The Saint men and women will host Hartwick in a dual meet Jan. 29 at 1 p.m.
