Canton, NY – Molly Denny scored four goals as the SUNY Canton women's lacrosse team was stifling defensively in a 14-4 non-conference victory v. Medaille College on Saturday.
With the win the Roos improve to 12-3 on the season and set a new single-season wins mark. The previous best was held by the 2016 team that finished the season 11-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
All four graduating student-athletes in Mia Jermano, MaryClare Bowes, Jessica Pele and Cecelia Neally found the back of the net on Senior Day. The four student-athletes were recognized in a pregame ceremony.
Denny led the Roos with four goals, two assists, seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers as she surpassed the 100-career goal mark during Saturday's contest.
Logan Bush totaled two goals, one assist and a team-high five draw controls. Pele supplied two goals, three ground balls and three draw controls, while EllaRose LeMay scored twice.
Bowes and Neally finished with a goal and assist each, while Stephanie Thayer also scored. Shelby Roberts recorded five ground balls and a caused turnover.
Madison Leary made four saves in the first half to earn the win, while Nicole Piskorowski stopped two shots in the second half.
The Roos jumped out to a 5-2 lead and took a 5-3 advantage into intermission.
Leading 7-4 the Roos held the Mavericks scoreless the final 20 minutes of the contest while scoring seven unanswered goals for the 14-4 final.
Emma Campagna led Medaille with a goal and assist. Brianna Phillips took the loss making 12 saves.
