(Potsdam, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton women's basketball team was upended by SUNYIT 58-33 Sunday afternoon at Clarkson University's Alumni Gym.
The Roos are now 1-4 and will play at Clarkson University on Tuesday, Nov. 23. The opening tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Alumni Gym.
Sophomore Heather Lottie (Canton, N.Y.), who has battled a knee injury this fall, made her first appearance for the Roos and led the team with nine points.
Brittany Kenyon (Hammond, N.Y.) and Abbey Shoen ( Waddington, N.Y.) each had five points and two rebounds and Mindy Small (Heuvelton, N.Y.) added six rebounds and three steals.
Taylor Topping led the Wildcats with 13 points and four rebounds. Tamara Williams chipped in with 12 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots.
