(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's soccer team overwhelmed Fisher College 16-0 on a day the Roos honored five graduating players.

SUNY Canton swept the season series with the Falcons improving to 7-3 in the Sunrise Conference and 7-7 overall.

Prior to the game head coach Mark Howlett honored four-year seniors Justin Martin (Lowville, N.Y.) and Repton Abrahams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and second-year players Chris Cumella (Webster, N.Y.), Dennis Frost (Bridgetown, Nova Scotia) and Jordan Saunders (Bridgetown, Nova Scotia) who are also graduating this spring.

Abrahams is a three-time all-Sunrise Conference selection. Martin received all-conference honors as a freshman and both he and Abrahams were NAIA Honorable Mention all-Americans after their freshmen campaigns.

Cumella was the Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Year last season and Frost and Saunders have been regulars in the starting lineups for both seasons.

After the ceremony it was all SUNY Canton as Cumella scored three goals and assisted on three others to lead the offensive charge.

James Catillaz (Gansevoort, N.Y.) and Moubarak Agoro (Bronx, N.Y.) each had three goals.  Frost contributed a goal and two assists and Martin scored once.

Homero Flores (Tamaulipas, Mexico) had two saves to earn his third shutout of the year.

Jose Villagran and Garrett Dube combined to make 12 saves.

The Roos will battle conference opponents University of Maine at Machias next weekend.  The games on Saturday and Sunday will be held at Rivier College in Nashua, N.H.
