RIT 3, Elizabethtown 0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-15)

RIT was able to stay out of any prolonged slumps against the Blue Jays, not allowing Elizabethtown to record back-to-back points until 15 serves into the match up. The Tigers were able to keep the Jays out of system while on the serve, forcing them into 10 reception errors in the match up and numerous unclean attempts.

RIT was led by Jessica Schaffer's 16 kills, and Christina Worth added in 33 assists and four aces. Rebecca Moore also contributed seven kills and 11 digs.

Holly Bubb recorded eight kills to lead Elizabethtown, while Crystal Agnew added in 17 assists and seven digs. Kelsey Hayes contributed six kills and five total blocks, and defensive specialist Carolyn Lukiewski dug 17 balls in the match up for the Blue Jays.

St. Lawrence 3, Plattsburgh 0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-15)

Consistency was the name of the game in the day's second match up, as St. Lawrence won by the identical score in all three sets. The Saints dialed up a hitting percentage of .365 for the match (37-6-85).

Liz Grogen led the way with 10 kills against just a single error in 23 swings, while Nyasha Miller posted six kills and a team-best 15 digs. Abby Rose assisted on 23 kills and had six digs, while Lauren Drozynski served three aces.

For Plattsburgh, the numbers were evenly distributed offensively as Theresa Lilly and Kristin Saheim each tied for the team lead with four kills. Hilary Boyea had 13 kills and six digs, and libero Andrea Kalter had 11 digs.

Elizabethtown 3, St. Lawrence 2 (25-19, 17-25, 25-14, 15-25, 15-9)

With back and forth blowout sets, neither team was able to take control of the match and establish a steady flow. It the final set of the match, Elizabethtown jumped out to a four-point advantage in the early going and was able to maintain that edge for the rest of the match to take home the victory and a split for the day.

Middle hitter Lindsay Palm led the Blue Jays with 14 kills and added in seven digs, while Katie Gantz contributed a double-double with 15 digs and 12 kills. Crystal Agnew surpassed 40 assists, reaching 43 in the match, and three players recorded double figures in digs, led by Carolyn Lukiewski's 26.
