(Rutland, Vt.)- Junior Kaitlin Myers (Dannemora, N.Y.) poured in 38 points to guide the SUNY Canton women’s basketball team to a 86-81 win over the College of St. Joseph Sunday afternoon in Rutland, Vt.
Myers also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out five assists in her highest scoring game of the year to lead the Roos (6-13) to their second straight win.
Freshman Elissa St. Germain (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) added 17 points and seven rebounds. Freshman Corrine Riegel (Bainbridge, N.Y.) had 16 points and pair of steals and junior Jackie Sedlacek (Endicott, N.Y.) added eight points, six rebounds and three assists.
The Roos hit the road on Thursday, Feb. 9 when they play at Morrisville State College and the return home on Sunday, Feb. 12 for another game with St. Joseph.
